Information
On race day, only participants in the mass start 2 km can get their bibs at the start – finish of the marathon / Nezavisimost Square next to Varna Opera/ where an information centre will be built with working time from 07:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Starting Bibs for ALL distances will NOT be given out on the day of the race.
Storage of personal belongings of participants
Tents for changing and clothes storage of the participants in Varna Marathon 2027 will be built near start-finish. Only bags and backpacks with a sticker, given by the organizers upon receipt of race bibs, will be accepted. The organizers will not be held responsible for any expensive items and jewels left.
Refreshment points
Will be built every five kilometers and at start-finish in accordance with the requirements of IAAF and BAF.
Timing and bibs:
The times of participants in the 10.5 km (DZI), 21 km (ASICS Run), and 42 km races will be measured using an electronic timing system. All competitors will be provided with timing chips attached to their race bibs. The numbers must be placed on the chest in a visible location without being folded or covered by outer clothing; it is prohibited to remove or damage the chips. Failure to comply with the above rules may result in the participant’s disqualification.

The organizing committee reserves the right to modify at any time some of the aforementioned regulations if required and necessary.
